It was a cold and blustery day...
But you wouldn’t know it!
I got an email from Darcy back in January saying that she was in need of both headshots and a family portrait for business purposes. As Darcy and her family live out of town, we’d scheduled the shoot well in advance. We were not anticipating that the temperature would drop to be about -30 with the wind (granted, it is Saskatchewan in February, so maybe we should have thought that would happen!). As the day arrived I was dreading the cold, but Darcy and the family soldiered through, even with their little three month old puppy, Tugger, who seemed to take it in chilly stride!
Having started with a headshot in studio, it was quite the change when we headed out to Wascana Park, but we got lucky and found a somewhat sheltered area. Turns out, at least when shooting outside in the snow, it’s helpful if you have a big family (or a warm puppy!) to cuddle up to!
